Lyctus or -os, i, f., = Luktos, a city of Crete, east of Gnossus, a colony of the Lacedæmonians, Mel. 2, 7, 12; Plin. 4, 12, 20, § 59.—Hence, Lyctĭus, a, um, adj., of or belonging to Lyctus, Lyctian, Cretan:
